About Lorena
Early Life & Tennis
Lorena Duknic grew up playing tennis in Zagreb, Croatia, developing a fierce competitive spirit early on. Her talent earned her a full scholarship to Division I tennis at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, laying the foundation for her athletic career.
Setback & Resilience
In 2016, a torn ACL and meniscus paused her competitive path. Lorena turned the challenge into opportunity, focusing on coaching, growth, and leadership.
Coaching Career
As a PTR-certified coach, Lorena has taught players across the U.S. and internationally. Her annual trips to Croatia blend high-level training, culture, and community, creating memorable experiences for players of all levels.
Profesional Pickleball
Lorena began competing professionally in mid-2025, combining years of coaching insight with elite athletic performance. She now competes on PPA and APP Tours, bringing strategy and skill to every match.
Achievements & Sponsorships
Lorena’s competitive record speaks for itself, with notable APP Tour results including 4th place in both Singles and Doubles, 9th place in Doubles with a back draw win, and two Top-10 finishes in APP Singles (back draw). She has also been drafted to compete in the India Pickleball League, adding international visibility and credibility to her career.
